Julia Carden Book Mockup

After lots of initial hesitation and subsequent hard work I am excited to let you know that my book “You Are Not As Self-Aware As you Think You Are” is in the final stages of production and will be launched on 21 October 2025. You can pre-order it now on Amazon and Waterstones.

Whilst the book is predominantly aimed at leaders it is for anyone who wishes to think about and deepen their self-awareness. I am currently in the process of collecting initial reviews and this is what Rob Lewis, a founding director of Mission Performance said:

“Julia’s extensive coaching and leadership experience informs a highly practical and actionable set of insights on self-awareness. A ‘must-read’ and a ‘must-do’ for leaders at every level, it challenges traditional notions and unexamined beliefs about self-awareness and how it informs and shapes how leaders behave and perform.”

A website to accompany the book with downloadable reflective exercises will be ready in the very near future so watch this space.
