Executive coaching in London gives senior leaders something the city rarely provides: a confidential space to think clearly, away from the pace, scrutiny, and stakeholder noise that shape every working day. Carden Consulting offers in-person executive coaching across central London for managing directors, C-suite leaders, and senior executives, with hybrid options for those balancing London bases with international travel or hybrid work.
Each engagement is led personally by Julia Carden, an ICF PCC and EMCC Master Practitioner accredited coach with PhD research into self-awareness and over 20 years of experience supporting senior leaders.
“We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.” — Max DePree.

Tailored for senior executives, this service provides face-to-face coaching sessions in London. However, depending on your specific goals, you may also find the following resources useful:
Senior leadership in London carries pressures that compound quickly: constant performance scrutiny, complex stakeholder environments, fast-moving change, and time pressure that leaves almost no space to step back. The cost of unclear thinking at this level is high and growing.
London leaders typically engage a coach when:
The value of this investment is underscored by the 2023 ICF Global Coaching Study, which found that organisations typically see a median return of seven times their initial outlay. Notably, coaching at the executive level delivers the most substantial improvements in leadership effectiveness and decision quality.
Carden Consulting offers in-person sessions in central London, with confidential settings agreed per engagement to suit your location and schedule. Whether you are based in the City, the West End, or Canary Wharf or commuting in from the Home Counties, sessions can be arranged in private, professional settings that protect the confidentiality the work requires.
For leaders who travel internationally or split time between London and elsewhere, sessions can be delivered as a hybrid model: in person in London when both parties are available and virtually when schedules demand it. The depth and continuity of the work are unaffected by format.
Our approach is built on a foundation of one-to-one engagement, informed by PhD-level research into self-awareness and refined over two decades of working with senior executives. This is a structured and reflective partnership rather than traditional consultancy, mentoring, or training; it provides a space to investigate the decisions, patterns, and assumptions that define your leadership, allowing you to lead with deeper intent and clarity.
Julia Carden characterises this environment as “a sandpit in which to play, rather than a courtroom in which to judge”, a dedicated arena to evaluate and refine your approach before real-world consequences occur.
While engagement durations vary from targeted three-to-six-month programmes to comprehensive eighteen-month partnerships, most clients opt for 60- to 90-minute sessions on a fortnightly or monthly basis. All sessions are strictly confidential. In cases of corporate sponsorship, a three-way agreement ensures that only high-level progress and themes are reported to the organisation, never the specific content of individual sessions.
